Bayne (baynemd@nextwork.rose-hulman.edu) DESCRIPTION Blanker is a complete modular screen blanking package designed with AmigaDOS 2.04+ in mind. This software takes advantage of all the new features of ADOS 2.04+ in order to make it as upward compatible with new releases as possible. A few of the features are listed below: o Screen Mode Database use in each module o Full Commodities interface o Font sensitive window o Public screen support o GadTools interface o IFF Preferences files o Use of tool types to support global and local prefs o AppWindow support Additionally, to ease use and installation I have provided the following: o "Installer" installation script o "AmigaGuide" format documentation Currently, the following blanker modules are available for Blanker: o Simple black screen (resident) o Moire/Bouncing lines (uses all 256 colors in AGA) o Floating Clock (with font, and time format settings) o Floating Text (font settings) o Fade out o Sliding puzzle o Swarm (Bees and Wasps) (ported from ASwarm) o Plasma (ported from AfterDark) o Fractal (ported from FracBlanker) o Dragon (ported from AfterDark) o Interference (ported from AfterDark) o Flying Toasters (ported from Flying Toasters) A few additional features: o Random blanker selection mode o Robust, concurrent messaging system o Blanks the mouse (in an OS friendly manner) SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS AmigaDOS 2.04 or greater is required (ADOS 3.0 is supported).
