INTRODUCTION
I thoght thats very hard for Shell-Users to work with many programs at
one time. It takes lots of time to call programs from different directories.
I ever wish me a program that calls other programs by enter a short keyword
into the Shell. So here it is. It took 2 Days to create it.
REQUIEMENTS
Only OS 2.04+
FEATURES
- Runs a program by enter the keyword into the shell
- Works on every Process (Better than Aliases)
- Directorychanges are available too
- Low Resident Code
- Only 1 Configurationfile
INSTALLATION
1. Copy the mainfile (PathControl) into any directory you wish.(C: or any
other)
2. If you like, make PathControl run automaticly from the Startup-Sequence.
*** Don`t run from WB !!!! ****
3. Edit your Datafile. (look at "HOW TO EDIT DATAFILE" in this Documentation)
4. Copy The Datafile into S:,ENVARC: or in the same directory where you
placed PathControl (PROGRDIR:)
HOW TO EDIT DATAFILE
First you enter the keyword for the program you want to run by it (or the
directory you want to change to when you enter the keyword).
**** Please don`t enter spaces into the keyword !!! ****
The Case of the keyword has no effect.
Then you enter a "#" letter. Followed by the filename of the program.
At last you press "ENTER" and one command is ready.
Example:
Keyword # Filename
