This is a utility I found on a BBS. It prints a test string as a banner
through any preferences printer driver and a graphics capable printer.
It needs a bitmap of the font and seems to use the largest one available.
So, if you do have 2.X, you can create large bit maps with fountain and
use them with this program to make really smooth banners.

It runs on my 3000 under 2.1 but does NOT require 2.X.
