SHOUT OUTS-----------------------------------------------------------------
To anyone who can get me some NASENBLUTEN mods, best gabba producers in the world, their Australian and they use Amiga's. I know they put some of their gabba mods on the internet a few years ago.
And its hard to get their EP'S here in Adelaide.
Has anyone else heard the new amiga single, released by dance group "annexe", shows how advanced we are compared to Microsoft, liscencing old music, like the Rolling Stones. AT has got a tekno EP cal
led 'The Theme Of Amiga'.
Hakkuh,
it may sound sh-t but this track is how gabba was done in the olden days
(ie. b4 1994). With a metal sample then breakin out into a synthline then
breakin down into a full on bass poundin' gabba track. The name Hakkuh comes from a dutch name for gabba called hakkuh.
Their was a point to this mod, it was to do what i wanted to do in gabba, but hadn't done before, to get gabba out of my system, and to get into happy house music. From writing gabba ive learnt about
house music, and rekon i should have a go at it. As much as i luv gabba and would like to see it rezurected, ive got to move on.
"ive got to let you go"
That kewl little house track, what ive got to do with gabba.
Inspirations,
All Nasenbluten
Fresh Fm, for playing my trax, BTW its now 92.7 Fm in adelaide if you cant find it, SA's only dance music station.
It's Just A Feeling, by Terrorize, the track that i can listen to non stop
Cappella, the best dance music producers in the world,
Dyewitness, Battle For Your Mind, is a good example of simple but good gabba. Rozalla, Ultrasoonic and the legend himself, DJ PAUL ELSTAK
And all the local people who still support gabba, and have stood up for the underground rave scene in SA.
I have A Pentium Pc aswell as an Amiga, but i use the amiga.
