______________| ...Night of the Living Hoovers...

Well hello again all. Its really has been quite a while since my last
release, as well as any other activity in the modem world. I had to sell
my amiga to make way for a newer model. Unfortunately, I have to wait a
while before I actually go ahead with the purchase. So I'll give a big
Thank you to Joel Perfitt for letting me use his 500 for the moment. ;)

Another reason as to why the EuphoniX activity in whole seems to be
at somewhat of a halt is because it really isn't! ( that last statement
does in fact make sense ). As many of you probably already know, EuphoniX
is not only a mod making group, but it is also a band. The band has been
busy with finishing the last remaining tracks for our soon to be, full
length CD. As well as just finishing up a live show here in Vancouver.
All in all, things are looking great for EuphoniX!

Why the "Night of the living Hoovers"? ... I was listening to some
music and found that the use of the belgian hoover has basically outlived
itself. Almost a cliche'd thing nowadays... So I decided to breath some
new life into it... As well as giving me the opportunity to try out some
new sample editing software... Basically the module was just an experiment.
Personally I really don't think there is much to it. But it is techno of
sorts and its been a while since I've contributed to the groups growing
selection of modules... So here it is...

This is more towards Darren Schebek than anyone else, but feel free to
 continue reading...;)

About the use/misuse of naming instruments. I understand where you are
coming from Darren. IE. Instead of having "Bass.kick.huge" I'll have the
usual greets. By having the original sample name intact would in fact make
more sense for those who store their modules with the samples in their own
path or directory. As well as keeping the author of the person who sampled
 the sounds credible.

But I still don't beleive in doing it. I usually tune my samples (Although
I'm sure some would beg to differ! ;) Eventually all or most of your modules
will end up sounding out of tune or some loops may go awry etc etc...

Take it in good heart. Reason I mentioned this is because I think Jov
Has been keeping the original sample names intact. Tom and I were musing about
 it a while back.

 ps... Where are you anyways!

    EuphoniX is...

And I almost forgot! Thanks to David Riley for taking the time to create
all of those cool ascii/ansi EuphoniX logos!

Thanks go out to Roger Earl for all of his help and support for EuphoniX.
As well as all the other users who have shown continuous enthusiasm towards
 EuphoniX as a whole...
