Dormez-vous? - 7:20, 139 BPM, Released October 25th, 1994
------------
Sleep unites the various fragments of our day to day existence into
a cohesive form. Without sleep, we would gradually, but surely go
insane. Yet, with the advent of warehouse parties, and 'raves'
people get less and less sleep, relying on chemical substances to
make their own reality into a dream state. For, as soothing and
revitalizing as sleep can be, it is also where nightmares can be
found.
Okay, there's my quota of metaphysical B.S. for this song. This
track combines elements of all sorts of my favorite musical styles.
Techno, industrial, tribal, ambient, and Morrissey (by samples only
of course =). It's a bit of a mess, but it's an interesting mess and
and it's a big module that doesn't rely on looped sample bits! Yay!
I did try to do something a little extra special to commemorate the
opening of our FTP site (look at the Ad for more info on that).
Special Greetz out to:
Adriane Prat/Voi:- Thanx for tuning help, love!
Roger Earl:- Thanx for my interminably crashing hard drive
and for pleading for the FTP site!
David Riley:- For doing tonnes of work setting up the site
and lots of support.
Adam Clark:- For great, 'free' studio engineering!
Jason Johannson,
Tom Szymanski,
Darren Grant:- For being the rest of EuphoniX.
Keith Gillard:- For turning a mod group into professional
musicians =)
And You!:- For taking a chance and downloading this
huge file! =)
Sample sources: all used without permission of course. ;)
Orbital, Coil, Dead Can Dance, SPK, Depeche Mode, The Smiths,
and EuphoniX.

And now a word from our sponsor...
----------------------------------
Attention! (Achtung even). The first "official" demo release is now
available from EuphoniX. Those of you who know us no longer have to
make due with crummy bootlegs! For a mere $5 you too, can become an
owner of a prized copy of our new cassette demo -8-, by EuphoniX.
The casette features 45 minutes of sonic mayhem and mysticism, that
includes 6 enhanced remixes of some of our favorite module releases
as well as an exclusive remix of a track on our (hopefully) upcoming
CD.
For those of you who don't know us (never heard the name before, etc),
EuphoniX is a four man electronic music crew based in Vancouver, BC.
We craft dense soundscapes that range from extremely rich hardcore to
ambient to the undescribable (or so we're told). BTW, there are NO
vocals. Anyways for a mere $5 (Canadian) it's not much of a risk, and
if you're into the underground stuff, raving and/or want something
different (that's right, this cassette doesn't sound like Skinny Puppy
or Ministry!) then you're likely to find something worth listening to
on -8- by EuphoniX.
For more info email tomsz@unixg.ubc.ca
For a copy of EuphoniX-8, send $5 (Canadian or American if you like) to :

We'll also include news of our latest module and studio activities.
Please be sure to include a clear return address and (EMail address if
at all possible)!!
