As many of you may or may not know, the talented Chad Randall,
author of Iconian, PlayFKiss, picticon, and various other
programs, left Amiga development for development on Windows95
about a year or so ago.

In the interests of continuing development of Iconian, I requested
the source code to Iconian.  In a very generous gesture, Chad
emailed the whole package to me.  The source code is in E.  I had
only a passing knowledge of E so decided to learn it full force and
in addition to learning in, port the source to C so Iconian can
also migrate to the next generation Amiga when it becomes availble.

Stage 1: Port keyfile maker to C *DONE*
Stage 2: Release generic keyfile for current version (2.98s) *DONE*
Stage 3: Port current version to C  *started*
    This will probably be the longest part
Stage 4: Request enhancement suggestions
Stage 5: Upgrade Iconian to version 3 with suggestions and Chad's
         notes for corrections and additions.

Version 3 will once again be shareware, but will be a free upgrade
to all those who have already paid for a version 2 keyfile.
