NetKeys is a program that allows you to remotely connect your keyboard
(and optionally, mouse) to another Amiga, using the ProNET package.
Remember SerNet/ParNet? Of course you do, that's why you hate and loathe
it, and use ProNET instead. But with SerNet/ParNet, you could connect the
keyboard and mouse of your main machine to the remote machine. Haha, yeah,
when the program didn't lock up. And you had to move the mouse off the
'side' of the screen (assumed you had two monitors). And it was hell to
make your own 'hotkey'.
Anyway, as ProNET is the modern alternative to SerNet and ParNet, my
NetKeys is the modern alternative to Dillon's netkeys. First of all,
working with ProNET system makes transmission errors and even disconnection
harmless. Secondly, NetKeys works fully under the Commodities system, which
means that you can choose _exactly_ what hotkey you want, you can also run
NetKeys from the Workbench, and the 'netmouse' option is under your
preference - and when it is enabled, it takes place when the hotkey is
pressed, NOT when you slide the mouse to the side of the screen!
