BBBase is an online database program for storing details of BBS systems.
It has full ANSI graphics, is VERY easy to setup, and has the most
powerful sysop maintenance section of any Metro Door in existence.
All the sysop functions are available from remote and include the
ability to edit, rename, backup, delete, copy and list the files inside
the door's directory. It also allows the sysop to edit any part of the
database, or delete entries from it.
User messages to the sysop are supported, as well as the ability to
delegate maintenance authority to users of a certain security through a
config file, if so desired.
The database is reasonably extensive and includes fields for:
BBS Name
Sysop
Phone number (including area code)
BBS Software in use
Baud Rates supported
Number of lines
Original poster of the entry
Date the record was last modified
A comment line - which may contain anything
Also, a textfile with detailed information about the BBS is supported.
If the poster of the entry sees fit, he/she may include a free-form text
of up to 250 lines about the BBS.
